This assignment was very out of my comfort zone and new to me. I enjoyed the challenge and ended up really liking my piece. My goal of the sound project was to have it be more nature oriented. It took a slight turn when I used a sound of Russian music and added an echo effect to it. This made the piece slightly more eerie and dark, which is an element I tend to enjoy in art. I think this created a vibe that paired nicely with the nature effect. I had sounds of water flowing, and footsteps which made it feel more of a creepy aspect of nature. To me, it ended up feeling like a spooky walk through nature that was almost a bit scary. One thing I think I could have done better was make some of the sounds a bit more loud. I had sounds of crickets, ducks, and animals that you couldn't hear very well at the end of the final piece. I think this would have helped the piece feel more of a consistent theme that would go better with the background music and to have more foreground sounds.
