My idea for "this dystopian sucks" is around the idea of Handmaids Tail. Not only is this book a complete dystopian so it lines up with the prompt, but I personally think that this idea of handmaids tail could quite possibily become our societies reality at some point in the future. Some of the ideas that I would focus on in the project would be the government take over of society and wiping out the US to create their own title, taking control and taking away women rights, and how independence is not allowed. I think this could be a really cool topic to investigate because it can act as a warning for this prompt and create a theme of making sure we actively prevent this from happening. Although it is a negative concept and is negative to look at the future in that way, I think using this topic as a cautionary idea would create some cool images and glitches that can match this dark and eery vibe.
